Principal of Shankaracharya School

India has been a teacher to the world since ancient times. This land is known for wisdom and scientific inquiry. It is the land of great Rishis who were constantly engaged in self-enquiry and the pursuit of excellence in every walk of life. Our country has a rich tradition of academic and intellectual scholarship. India had renowned universities such as Nalanda and Takshashila, where scholars from across the world came to learn and returned enriched and awakened.

However, over the last 300 years, our nation was subjugated, resulting in the loss of our self-esteem and Indian spirit. My dream is that every Indian awakens to their true Indianness—rooted in wisdom, values, and knowledge—reclaiming our lost identity.

Shankaracharya School has been established with the vision of training children to become carriers of ancient Indian values and wisdom while preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the modern world. Today’s education system has become overly job-oriented, and children are often treated like factory-made products, unable to think independently. There is a growing lack of sensitivity towards nature and the nation, and students are trained merely to become consumers in a globally driven economy.

My endeavor is to nurture children into thinking, creative, and confident individuals who are sensitive to nature, devoted to the motherland, and ready to walk the extra mile to make India a self-reliant and powerful nation, capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with the world’s leading powers.
