Hostel Rules and Regulations
General Rules and Regulations
- Be mindful of being considerate of other Residents at all times.
- Keep the Hostel clean and tidy. All rubbish should be disposed of in the garbage bin provided.
- Consider other Resident's needs. It is not a place to play loudly and disturb others.
- Entertainment for non-residents inside the Hostel is not permitted.
- Hostel will be locked from 7:15am to 1:30pm. Consult the office if entry is needed during this time.
- Hostel Residents cannot leave without permission from the Director or Deputy Director. Register must be signed.
Bathroom Rules and Regulations
- Inner bathroom is for females only. Males are not permitted in female bathroom and vice versa.
- Bathrooms must be kept clean. Mop provided for wet or dirty floor.
- Clean toilets if soiled before next person uses it.
- Shower stalls are not to be used as toilets.
Meals
- Meals should not be eaten on beds. Consume food in room adjacent to Hostel or outside.
- Beverages should be consumed outside the Hostel room. Water is acceptable inside.
- Monthly meal charges for non-residents to be paid by the first of the month directly to the Clerk.
Sleeping
- Stay in bed quietly until 5am. Hygiene functions can take place after 5am.
- Do not use Hostel for sleeping during the day unless there is a health problem.
- Be prepared for night so that 'lights out' can take place at 9pm.
